Godanti Bhasma is used in a variety of Ayurvedic conditions—below are some of the major uses with modern and traditional backing:

• Relieves headaches, migraines, and head heat: The cooling property is often cited for tension headaches and migraines.

• Fever, chronic fever, and infections: It is used for reducing body heat and fever associated with Pitta and to support recovery.

• Digestive support, acid reflux, hyperacidity: It has antacid, cooling, and ulcer-soothing properties in Ayurvedic literature.

• Bone health, calcium deficiency, osteoporosis: Since the base mineral is gypsum (a calcium source), it’s used for disorders of bones, joints, backache, and osteoporosis.
